Return and Exchange Policy

At Kaiworks, we are committed to providing high-quality, made-to-order jewelry and a positive customer experience. Because many of our pieces are crafted specifically for each order, certain restrictions apply to returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds. Please review this policy carefully before completing your purchase.

Returns and Exchanges

Most Kaiworks jewelry is made to order and begins production shortly after an order is placed. Because of the custom nature of these pieces, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges on made-to-order jewelry.

In certain situations, Kaiworks may approve a return or exchange at our discretion. If approved:

  • The item must be returned to our New York City location.

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • A 20% restocking fee will apply.

  • The item must be returned unworn, undamaged, and in its original condition and packaging.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Please do not send an item back without first contacting us and receiving return authorization.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or you experience another issue, please contact us at info@kaiworksnyc.com so we can review the situation and work toward a resolution.

Order Cancellations

Because our jewelry is crafted on demand, orders are sent into processing and production shortly after they are placed.

Cancellation requests must be submitted within 24 hours of placing your order. After the 24-hour period, the order may already be in production and can no longer be cancelled.

We strongly recommend reviewing your item, material, size, shipping information, and cart carefully before completing checkout.

14K Gold Items — Final Sale

Due to the significant cost of materials, production time, labor, and resources required to create our 14K gold jewelry, all 14K gold orders are final sale.

Once a 14K gold order is placed:

No cancellations, returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted.

We encourage customers to carefully review all product details, sizing, material selection, shipping information, and other order specifications before purchasing a 14K gold item.

We currently accept PayPal only for 14K gold purchases to provide a secure transaction process.

Apparel and Other Eligible Non-Made-to-Order Items

For eligible apparel or other items that are not made to order, we may accept a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unworn, unused, and in its original condition.

  • The item is returned in its original packaging.

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping to our New York City location.

  • A 20% restocking fee applies.

Please contact us before returning any item to confirm whether it is eligible.

International Orders

We do not accept returns or exchanges on international orders.

If your international order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or you experience another issue, please contact info@kaiworksnyc.com, and we will review the situation and assist where possible.

Customers are also responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, import fees, or other charges assessed by their country.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you believe you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us promptly at info@kaiworksnyc.com.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos when applicable. We will review the situation and determine the appropriate resolution.

Manufacturing defects or order errors caused by Kaiworks are handled separately from standard returns and are not subject to the normal restocking fee when Kaiworks determines that the issue is our responsibility.

Craftsmanship and Quality Assurance

At Kaiworks, we take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of every piece we offer. Our jewelry is produced using premium materials, including sterling silver, vermeil, and 14K gold, and many pieces are individually crafted after an order is received.

Minor variations in finishing, polishing, texture, dimensions, or appearance may occur as part of the jewelry-making process and are not necessarily considered defects.
